Lilith's Banishment Welcomed
Lilith, a noble whose stay in Abington as a law-abiding citizen was quite short indeed, was banished by Arch-Priest Gauihu after a stern but merciful warning was ignored.

During her stay, Lilith madly proclaimed herself Ruler of Abington, gave out orders to everyone, spoke out strongly and uncouthly against socially superior nobles and promised vengence against anyone who she disagreed with - which wound up being everyone.

The account of her crimes is officially: Conduct Unbecoming a Noble, Insubordination, Impersonation of Command and Sedition. Unlike certain previous controversial banishments, this one was welcomed by a majority of Abington's nobles.

Darka Unwilling to Take Responsibility
Kostaja Kosunen, the prime source of propaganda from the illegitimate realm of Darka, has issued numerous statements attempting to justify his actions, and even blame the target of those actions instead of shouldering responsibility for himself.

"Looks like Abington supports this realm which send assassins after realms which have peace with them... not that its surprises me. Abington has always ignored common agreements and morale of NORMAL human nature," Kostaja said recently. This two-part propaganda piece is entirely deception, of course.

First, it holds that Redspan "sent" an assassin to Darka when, by all accounts, the assassin did it of his own volition.

Second, by trying hard to gain the morale high ground, Kostaja has stretched the limits of credibility by suggesting that Darka knows anything about "morale of normal human nature." Darka rapes, burns and kills at the drop of a hat. Darka appoints Black Cultist members like Vatticus to high ranking positions.

"Now i let you go to explain peasants of Stargard why they get robbed and killed by Darkan troops, why their government dont want to save them from this destruction, why their walls are crumbling, why their gold is taken away... It is because of AJ and because of your stubborness to admit that what you and AJ did was wrong," Kostaja also stammered recently.

This is the crux of the matter. The only reason the peasants are getting robbed, raped and killed, is because Darka is ordering them to. Darka, along with Talerium, is apparently unwilling to even admit that they are the ones responsible for their own actions. Is it because those actions are so lowly, so despicable that they don't want to take the credit?

"You never even apologized that action. You simply moved gold from AJ to your self and still let AJ to have few hundred profit," claims Kostaja. It is a matter of public record that Redspan fined AJ for his actions - Darka's problem then is with the fact that someone put a high bounty on one of their councilmen, NOT that Redspan failed to implement justice within the context of their own laws.

But with such sterling, honest and honourable actions from Darka, who could possibly have reason to place bounties on Darkan heads?

Darka Invades Redspan; Abington Declares War!
Darka, during the War of (Attempted) Annihilation, did not have the moral courage and honesty to declare war on Abington. We believe this is not only because of Darka's essential non-sovereignty, but because it made it easier for them, as "neutrals," to avoid combat and imprisonment while opportunistically looting Abington territories.

Today, Abington shows that we are not Darkans nor anything like them. Darka, after much whining and posturing about an infiltrator attack on one of their so-called nobles, declared war on Redspan. The issue, apparently, is that Darka was unhappy that Redspan only fined, instead of banishing or executing, the noble which collected the bounty. They decided to attack in order to extract - what else - gold. This is no truly just cause for war; but then again, neither is "advertising their superior military" a just cause to invade Abington.

The fact now is quite simple. Darka, after roping in Talerium to assist them against Redspan, has declared war on and invaded Abington's Federated Ally. By treaty, Abington is obligated to come to her ally's defense. Darka, or an actually sovereign realm, might now complain because of this, but Darka has forced Abington's hand. Unlike Darka, we are not feigning at being given no reasonable alternative.

Today, the Queen of Abington, on the advise of the Royal Council, has declared war on Darka. This news was much celebrated in Abington, where the memory of the pointless and barbaric pillaging and raping - which the so-called nobles of Darka crudely and thuggishly boasted about - is still fresh on the minds of any true Abingtonian.

Darka has proven itself a dangerous, whimsical, and above all barbarian realm. It is this author's hope that other realms will come to see the truth, and work to abolish what is self-proclaimed to be not a realm, but a "mercernary company" which arrogantly boasts about having the "best military" on Atamara.
