A costal region close to the City of Alowca and belonging to both the Duchy and Nation of the same name, Warmanoras is home to a hardy people skilled with both blade and bow.  The current Count of Warmanoras, Gravitas, has held the region together through ALowca's recent battles and alliances and remained loyal to Alowca and it's religion: the Trinity.

Warmanoras has historically had many invasions of undead. Whether these occurances are related or not, or directed by the will of the Trinity is unknown, but the people of Warmanoras have stood strong against them, many times for days at a time, without aid from the Alowcan Army.

Warmanoras borders both Alowca and Irdalni, although travelers will find it takes quite a bit of time to get to either.

Warmanoras offers to the nobles of Alowca three types of troops for service in the Army, the infantry units of both the Warmanoras Warriors and Warmanoras Champions, as well as the archers known as the Warmanoras Windsongs.

With the grand cities of Oritolon and Alowca claiming the vast majority of the richer trade and travellers Warmanoras tends to attract only those who cannot afford their steep docking fees and those who, for one reason or another, prefer to avoid these busy and well policed cities.

As a result the taverns and inns of the few small towns concentrated along the northern shoreline of Warnamoras are cheap, colourful and exciting, if not a little dangerous. This is not lost on the more adventurous young nobles of Oritolon and Alowca, many of which take advantage of the small ferries that criss-cross the bay every evening.

With land travel to nearby Alowca city so arduous most commercial travel is by sea. There is a long standing tradition of smuggling in Warnamoras; their dock-masters are a byword for inventive alteration of shipping documents. Even during the long war between Alowca and Oritolon much unofficial trade took place between the cities via the many small harbours that populate the coast.

This black-market trade, along with fertile land, abundant fish stocks in the southern seas (and not least the gold of bored young nobles from Oritolon and Alowca) lends Warnamoras a modest prosperity and cosmopolitan atmosphere not enjoyed by many other regions that are equally remote and rural.
