1. Separation of Power:

i. No Noble may hold more than one Senior Position.
ii. The 7 Senior Positions are defined as: Lord Vixir, Prime Knight, Executor, Master Steward and Heads of the Three Great Houses.
iii. The aim of this law is to ensure that power is spread widely, engaging more Nobles in Government.
iv. This law will also guard against one Noble obtaining too much power.
v. A Noble holding a Senior Position can still stand for election to other Senior Positions, but must stand down from their prior position upon being elected. They are permitted to retain the prior position for up to one week, whilst a Successor is Elected/Appointed.

This law was ratified on 1st August 1015, after a referendum using the voting system of Three Houses.
