Ever heard of the button Show preview? It lets you look at the page you are about to save, before it is saved. Then you can check whether it is like you want it, or whether you still want to change something. It'll prevent the Recent Changes page from being spammed by saves of people who just start making their family page and have to resave the page over and over again because they think it's not good enough yet.
