His Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress, more commonly known as the Tower of Fatmilak, is the former capital of Madina, and seat of the Republican Grand Council of Lords centred on the North-Western shoreline of the Fatmilak Isle, the land around the Stronghold being characterised by "barren hills interspersed with marsh filled valleys". It resides within the Margraviate of Tower Fatmilak under the military jurisdiction of the Margrave, and the civil jurisdiction of the Comte/Comtesse.
