Theory of Size-Induced Madness

Alright everyone, here's my little theory. After seeing what went on in Vlaanderen, a thought came to me. It's always the small realms isn't it? IT led me to the theory that the fewer cities and strongholds a realm has, the more likely that realm is to have rulers that are stark, raving mad. This doesn't mean all small realms have insane rulers. King Dimian of Alluran is a perfectly sane leader, as is Fura of Khthon. However, we also have to look at places like Vlaanderen which is obviously the craziest of them all for calling a Daimon "God-King," of their own free will. However, other states, like Fwuvoghor are also a bit nuts. They had a revolving door of leadership and JeanOlivier a.k.a. the man who tried to single-handedly take over a foreign city.

We also can't ignore Alluran even though I'm a big Dimian-fan. The founder of Alluran, King Distorted was a little odd himself. A well, known con-man before founding the kingdom, Distorted was known for swindling multiple realms like Varyamo Nolvo and Plergoth. You know what? He swindled Thalmarkin too. Actually he didn't I'm just enjoying the ability to make up facts and propagandize again. I'm sortof flexing the sensationalist muscle here.

Beluaterra isn't the only continent where the Theory of Size-Induced Madness applies. Kalmar Islands had El Cid (and my little brother but he never rose above the position of Baron). El Cid was famous for trying to "hijack" the country changing it into an Avamarian Empire. Seriously? Avamar was dead and hated there. Calling yourself New Avamar just lead to Kalmar's eventual destruction.

In Atamara, now dead RedSpan was led by people who believe solely in beer and being as dirty as possible.

Alright, enough examples. So there's my Theory of Size-Induced Madness. Is it mad itself? Maybe. Maybe all these are coincidences? Think about it.
