Family Fame

As the point arrived in the middle of the turn (I'm fairly certain of that), the more reasonable char to have earned it should be Busto, but he had been General already, and Meristenzio too. So it is surely not because of the simple General position. Perhaps having 2 Generals at once? Having 2 chars council members at the same time?

I have also experienced something close to that, if not the same. I would exclude having 2 characters as Generals or council members in the same time would give a fame point, since I had a General character in Ibladesh and a General character in Riombara in the same time and I didn't get any unknown fame points in that period.

The funny thing is that my character in Riombara was captured in battle and imprisoned. I had 2 Generals (and council members) for a whole month, so it is evident that that doesn't give a fame point. However, once he got out from the prison he was *appointed* by a ruler as the General again, and almost immediately after that I got a fame point, and it was also a mid turn fame point which means it was triggered by some event in game.

So, maybe that has something to do with how your character became a General (I suppose any council position would do)? Maybe there is a difference if he was elected or appointed and each carry one fame point? Or....maybe the 2 Generals/Councilors does get rewarded but again somehow connected with whether your character was appointed or elected? --Arakiss 00:00, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

The first time Busto was elected General. Meristenzio was appointe. Yesterday Busto was appointed. So the point cannot come from the fact that he was appointed as already Meristenzio was. The only clue could be having 2 appointed councilmembers at the same time. The advy theory does not convince you? --Ivel 09:54, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

I don't think this is the sort of a game that would reward your *noble* family because of your *commoner* character who is not even recognized by the family. :) Seeing that your mystery fame point just disappeared I think we hit the bottom with this theory. :( --Arakiss 12:41, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

More fame guesses

Today I got a fame point in the middle of the sunset turn exactly after I reached 50 total mentor points with Meristenzio (I had 47, went to 53 in a single jump). Did anyone have a similar guess or can confirm this? Ivel 21:02, 21 May 2010 (CET)

Congratulations, that's a so-far unknown fame point, and you got it perfectly right. --Tom 22:16, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
