( Letter to the Editor )
Hate to break the news to you, but a substantial Protectorate of Magnus force attacked Eagle's Glen after being given passage through Falasan. Ignorance of this just makes your realm look stupid. That was the reason why Talerium attacked Falasan. First they got revenge on PoM, then they got revenge on ASI, then they got revenge on Falasan.
-- Torsaan Kargnchha I

Tell yourself that if you wish. There is little you can do to prevent someone from passing through your realm if you don't know they are planning it beforehand. Your willful ignorance of that simple reality is pathetically transparent. I am sure that tiny, unsanctioned PoM expedition is Talerium's official casus belli but the reality is, Talerium attacked Falasan because the Cagilan Empire willed it. - Rhys

Example Reply - ok then.
Further example reply to first letter - This is another example reply. It can be a reply to either the first letter or to the first reply,

There can be nothing more perfect than Tenebrioun's observations in his May article. The answer to anyone wondering why the western realms always wish pile on their opponents in ridiculous numbers is that, obviously, they need to.

They pay a cost in spirit for this luxury, however. The Cagilan Empire army has been a rank embarrassment for a long time. But now, observe the recent decline in Talerium's efficacy. I remember a day when they marched as far as Wayburg and beyond with an army of twenty thousand. Now they seem to struggle with raising ten-thousand. Precisely the same can be said of Darka. The reason is obvious. Their nobles know they are only fighting the wars others. They see that it is always on behalf of the same party and realize, if only subconsciously, that they are servants and another, foreign people their master. Their spirits wilt in a life without risk, without freedom, without glory, without dignity. They have no reason to fight. They are reduced to mindless drones serving the tyrant of an endless swarm of men and lands without virtue. I say to you I know this because I lived through it myself.

All going back to prove the Cagilan Empire is but a paper lion. A nation that has been for long in decline and survives only be leaning heavily on many other realms to prop them up under the weight of their hubris. I wonder what would happen if the Cagilan Empire fought it's own war for once? It's a stupid question, of course, because it is impossible to answer. That will never happen. - Rhys
