Invitation

Request from Bowie Ironsides

Message sent to everyone in your realm (15 recipients)

Attention Fellish nobility!

In three days time (Wednesday) I will host a grand realm launch party at my estate in Flowrestown! It is the initiating event of our high society, a Spring Open if you will. I invite everyone, even you Sevastian, to come and partake in the merriment! It won't be a dinner event but there will be tables of food available.

The evenings entertainment will begin with a performance by a crowd favourite, Jingo the Fire Juggling Midget and his assistant monkey Cyrus! I've seen their act before and it is hilarious!

Following this, the surprise main event of the evening, the Roast of Bowie Ironsides! Believe me, nobles across the continent would kill to have a chance to roast me. I expect everyone to take the stage so prepare material ahead of time. I am especially looking forward to what you have to say, Brown. Nobles, you are encouraged to follow the same rules I follow when insulting others - there are no rules! Every topic is fair game! There is no such thing as limits when it comes to my roast. Throw your hardest punch, I dare you!

To conclude the festivities, we will have a moonlight dance so bring a date! Or, if you'd rather cruise the party, charm one of our lovely Fellish nobles into a romantic one on one evening. Most of you are young nobles. This should be an opportunity for you, wink wink.

I have only one rule with regards to attending this event - leave your titles at the door! In my estate, while the party is active, nobody will address each other in the manner associated with realm business. This is the chance for everybody to get to know each other more personally, sociably. It is a party, folks, so put your boozing and laughing hat on!

I expect everyone to attend. Be there or don't!

Claude looked over the invitation in his hand. A party! That sounded like a grand idea.

Reading further on the list, his anticipation only grew further upon the promise of a fire juggling midget and an opportunity to publicly insult Bowie Ironsides and watch others do the same all in good fun. However, he had no idea whom he would invite to the moonlight dance. Oh well, he mused. He'd just have to go alone and see what happened.

Wednesday promised to be an interesting night.

"Time to see if the Demon of Dwilight can revel like one, I suppose."

Enoch looked his invitation over. Fire, midgets, insults, and socialization without titles....he was intrigued. He intended to partake in this grand ball. The party that Abbigal had intended to throw seemed to have vanished during the onset of the realm's traumatic beginnings. Perhaps now they would get a chance to gather as one and blow off some collective steam.

"Tankred!" Enoch called out. His captain scuttled through the marching line with mocked haste. "I'll be leaving you to administrate to the takeover aid in the North Divide. A social occasion has been announced in Flowrestown and I intend to join. I trust you will be fine with command of the men for a time?"

"Aye, they'll be fine. Leave 'em with momma Tank while you go tom-cat in the flowers...just be sure you don't come back stumblin' and smellin' of former maidens. What example would that set for the childs?" Tankred wheezed with a faked hunch back. His mimicry of an old spinster was impressive.

"Well my fine crone, I'm glad you feel confident to babysit. Perhaps if they are well behaved I'll take them out for some inebriating sweets as a reward once I return." Enoch guffawed. He had come to appreciate Tankred's strange humor. He just hoped that humor didn't turn into something less benign while he was gone.
