The Sultanate of Asena was formed when the city of Kazakh, recently captured from Old Rancagua, seceded from Fontan. The young realm fought a brief and uneventful war with the Obsidian Islands to take the region of Kazan, and then proceeded to ally with Fontan and wage war against Old Rancagua.
