While attending to her personal garden in spiritual retreat, Yao Ling uncovers the Screeching Ring of Daishi Souls, a daimonic item of trapped Daishi souls encapsulated within a dark-ring. Inquiries discover it was last spotted fused to Jactosh's claw in a battle for Ete City. What divine mystery had caused it to be buried in this soil? How did one get it to stop screeching?
The ring carried many Daishi souls trapped in it.
The ring was destroyed and the souls liberated during the siege of Reeds. It was used with several portal stones to banish a Daimon army and critically wound Jactosh himself. The wound would never heal and Jactosh was later killed through the use of a second artifact of power.
