The vast and splendid townslands of Rueffilo are the bustling crossroads of the region. There are countless villages and small towns scattered across the mainland, with people making their livelihoods mostly by manufacturing goods for trade with neighbouring Irombro and Grekh and the great cities of the peninsula in the north.

To the west the river Eno allured several small fisher communities with the finest species of trout and occasional trade from the north, sparsely sprinkling the eastern bank of the river with tiny fisher villages. Contrasting with the nets, rotten planks and boats the only other structure on the western border of the region are noble quarters - their dwellers enticed by perfect humidity of the air and convenience of the closeby river and the view. From the banks of Eno the towering spires of Eylmon can easily be seen, even further to the west on the brightest and clearest of days in the year one can even spot the ethereal, blueish shapes of the peaks of Bym.

The south of the region is dominated by the green colour of barley cultivating farmlands, with an exception of an ancient watchtower of unknown origin. To the south of Rueffilo there is serene Bolkenia - epitome of tranquility; the peaceful rural region trades mostly with Irombro, with not much movement of any kind ever going cross the Rueffilo border. Not even the eldest locals can remember any threat ever coming to the region from the south. All that making the ancient southern watchtower not only mysterious but also somewhat useless structure for defensive purposes.

To the east there are cold, grey walls of Irombro. The ancient city, altough reminding of a temple or sarcophagus in it's look, is still the liveliest region in the area and Rueffilo owes it most of it's trade. Further north the rocklands of Rii can be seen - the people of the two regions developed silent enmity towards eachother, though none Rueffilan can tell what exactly are the reasons of the hostility. Whenever a occasional stone trade comes from Rii to Rueffilo, to placate the whims of local nobles, the delivery is always made without exchanging as much as a word between parties. Those rare trades were dubbed by the locals stone processions, both because of the nature of the trade and because of the Riian traders being as silent as stones.

The northernmost border of Rueffilo is with rural Ardmore - it is by far the liveliest and most populous route north in the region. Myriad trade caravans, travelling armies, adventurers and settlers pass through Ardmore-Rueffilo border. Over time a splendid road network that came with the needs and additional trade that came with the roads turned Ruefillo into the vastest, most populous and richest townsland in the South-East.
