Shipwrecked upon a foreign shore!

Stormbrew could hardly believe his eyes once he had finally drawn the strength to open them. After a long sail and a perilous three days spent drifting upon a single large plank of wood in the sea, Stormbrew had arrived at what appeared to be the land he had dreamed about.

He had been travelling for so long that he had no way of knowing the terrible fate which the gods had dealt the rest of his family back in Atamara several years ago. He had no way of knowing that his Mother and Father had been slaughtered and his brother banished by a paranoid tyrant to another realm.

Although the whole journey was a blurred haze in Stormbrew's mind, he knew the basics of the other half of the story, whenever he recalled it his fists would clench and rage would cloud his mind. Of the few memories which had survived harsh sea and the awful journey, he could remember vividly – no doubt as a result of his constant torment – the awful events which lead to the death of his Uncle and Sister at the hands of those evil volcano worshiping monsters.

He can still picture their faces as they were burnt alive by the Darka force who had betrayed their trust and sacrificed them both to their volcano goddess. He too would have been a victim if he had not been able to scramble into a bush during the fight. Minutes later, as they were set a blaze and their screams filled the air, Stormbrew swore to leave Atamara and never return to its evil shores.

Now though he was shipwrecked upon shores he did not know and in a region he knew not the location of. He could only hope they would recognize his noble blood and allow him to continue his Uncle’s quest to seek a better life on the East Continent.

His Uncle has always spoken of the Caligus, a dignified realm which would allow able young warriors to rise to glory if they showed the determination. The events of the past though had given Stormbrew more determination than anyone could have expected.
