During the historical period known as 'The Reconstitution of Oritolon' the government system was reformed with the intent of unifying Oritolon after a period of chaos and allowing more nobles to have a voice in how the realm is run.

This restructuring involved the creation of ministries of Justice, Finance, War and Diplomacy (in which any noble can become a member) and a Senate.

The Senate is comprised of all primary government members, the Chief Ambassador, the Guardian of The Pillars, the Arch Priest and all Dukes.

The Imperator Publicus and Minister of Justice are not subject to election automatically but must submit to a vote of confidence in The Senate every three months. Any government official can be made subject to a Senate vote of confidence by a Senate member at any time.
