Defenders Defient Yet Again!
Once again the gallent defenders of Old Rancagua, defeated another army of Rancagua. This is the 3rd army Rancagua have raised and squandered within the week. Soon the defenders will have their ultimate goal of the week in their hands. Gadlock. This barren swamp land is nothing to outsiders but to these two realms it means life or death.

Again a pitterful 4444cs marched agsinst the overwhelming defending force of 8991cs. This battle was won before it had begun.

Again strong winds prevailed reducing the effectness of the archers on both sides. With Rhino, general of Rancagua, taking command of the attackers and setting them up in Infantry Charge Formation. Everyone knew this battle was going to be close and bloody.

Sergeant Evans from the unit Sam's Soldiers, describes the battle, "We stood there, all of us, lined up faceing the Rancs. we were confident of Victory. We just had more men than them. Once all our men had lined up the archers did their best, but the winds got the better of them and only a handfull of men were hit on both side. We soon heard the sound of the Ranc generals drums beat ordering their troops forward. We decided it better to let them come to us. The archers had just time enough to let one more lot fly, before we were to close to the enemy.

When the rancs were so close we could even smell them, they started their charge and we began the bloody work of the grunt. Then every thing came down to just me and them there ranc soldiers. Cause if I dint swing my sword quicker than them then I could end up not seeing my wife and daughter one day. I kept swinging and I know I killed at least three of them but as there were so few of them and so many of us, there werent many left to kill after that. Our guys had already broken throught the front lines and were engaging their archers.

After the battle we did a roll call and my unit had suffered on one wounded guy. Now its time for me to turn in and get my kip, before my watch early tomorrow morning."

There you have it a first hand account of the battle which took place at dusk. Now its just a matter of time before the people of Gadlock are hailing their new King Fuinur.

By Sam, Count Of Juazeiro.
