Battle in Gadlock Old Rancagua vs. Rancagua

Estimated combat strengths: 9000 CS vs. 2000 CS

Attacker Victory!

The wind blew hard and strong, the sun was setting and two armies were assembling. The archers on both sides look up to the banners of the realms, to see them almost being ripped off their poles. Much to their disapointment.

As soldiers on both sides stood defient agianst the cold chill of the winds, the beat of King Fuinur drums flow over the ranks of men.

The archers take carefull aim, and let lose the first volley of many. As predicted not many found their target, but enough hit to draw the first blood. Once that volley had gone the infantry moved forward, closing the distance on the outnumbered Rancaguans, not wanting to stand under a hail of arrows the defenders charged forward to meet the attackers. Unfortunatly they could not make it quick enough before another volley landed amongst the ranks. Soon the two forces clashed! Men pilled in with more behind them. Not all of Old Rancaguas units could see some blood being shed as the frontlines were too crowded. But the battle already had been decided, all but two units had been eradicated from the order of battle for Rancagua, while none of Old Rancaguas units had even thought of fleeing or defeat.

Onwards rolled the unstopable force, into the last remaining opponents remaining, who stood little chance of doing anything other than fleeing.

The final casulties are: Old Rancgaua: 22 men killed or wounded. Rancagua: 62 men killed or wounded. With Andreas, Merlin, Sir william and Excalibur the Pontifex of Rancagua Were wounded.

King Fuinur Of Old Rancagua afer the battle,

"I must say that I am very pleased with the performance of the Old Rancaguan Royal Army. Once again, it proved discipline, organization and heart in its moves and earned a well deserved victory! The backbone of the enemy forces is broken and we shouldn't expect any Oligarch or Perdan involvement which could prevent the current takeover of Gadlock. I am looking forward to call Gadlock a retaken region at the end of this week and to be one step closer to our final victory against the false Church of Old Rancagua.

Thank you."

And with that statement the takeover of Gadlock began.
