House Octavius

Despite dating back centuries the House of Octavius has only just become large enough to be noticed. The ancestral home is located in Canock in Carelia which, according to ancient documents, they once ruled before the rise of individual kingdoms, however there is no conclusive proof and it may just be a family legend. For time immemorial the Octavian family has been defended by the Green Guard regiments, recruited from the local villagers who have lived under the local rule of the Octavians for centuries.

The Prophecy

In ancient time a prophecy was made of the future of the fsmily and has yet to be fulfilled, the sole copy of it lies below:

Of Octavian line there shall be born two spirits,

The First shall be the hero warrior destined to rule,

Born under the sign of the Eagle,

He will lead his House to glory,

And will earn a place in the Hall of Heroes.

The Second shall be the Prophet to unveil the true faith,

Born under the sign of the Holy Fire,

He shalt be a martyr in life and a Saint in death.

The First shall come in a time of war,

His coming heralded by mighty battles.

The Second shall come in the time of the First,

His coming will be heralded by a falling star.

The Second shall die before the First,

The First will die in a time of peace.

Family Members:

Sir Antonine Andronicus Octavius - The handsome heir to the Octavian dynasty has left home to bring fame and fortune to the family. A firm beleiver in the family legend and one day hopes to be either an elected knig our found his own country. His natural eloquence and high intelligence are doing him great service and he is now editing the Carelia Times. He is a loyal servant to the crown of Carelia and is prepaered to sacrifice everything in order to keep his oath of loyalty and this has been rewarded with a knighthood. Antonine is currently busy building his reputation in Carelia. He was wounded in the battle of Garnagi fighting against the Cagilan Empire. In that battle he lost all of his men to the enemy. He mourned all of them and built a memorial to them at the city of Skalk before heading out to the capital. Whilst on his way he heard of a tournament Brackhead and decided to enter. He decided to try and win it for his fallen men so that he might send the prize money to their families.

Sir Asriel Constantine Octavius - Antonine's younger brother left home to seek his fortune in the Far East. His skill with a blade and a pen indicates a promising future. He is a loyal servant of the Principality of Zonasa and has been awarded a knighthood. He is currently building his reputation in the Principality of Zonasa. He fought in the Battles of Anrimap and Erahol.

Emily Augustus Octavius - Emily is headstrong, beautiful and intelligent, since childhood she dreamt of following her elder brothers as troop leaders. She has joined the Ash Sea Islands as a troop leader as she feels they are fighting an honourable war. She took part in each of the Three Battles of Worav, refusing to leave the region untill the Abingtonian forces were expelled from the realm.
