One of the reigons of Springdale , This Mountinious reigion overlooks the city of Nifenhold. The people here are a hardy foke, who export large amounts of quarried stone and rare metals to the rest of Springdale. They are also renown for their masonry and carving, with all major architecture in The Empire having been worked on by at least one Nastrondien mason. The region was also the first line of defence against the monsters and rouge bands of the north, it stood firm for many generations against all the north could throw at it. Since the Great Northen expansion it no longer is a barrier, but the sacrifice of many uppon its slopes shall never be forgotten.
