History tells us that he was the son of Lawrence Motosuwa, who owned a local shop in the city of Fengen "Located on the continent of Beluaterra".

At a young age, Kusanagi could be found traversing the streets delivering packages from house to house. As he grew older it must be suspected that his life as local delivery boy became mundane or that he had a falling out with his father, becuase later in life his name would be found half way around the world, on a War torn continent of The South-East Island in a realm called Taselak.

It would seem that his time there was short "A few years or so". What records we have found state that he participated in a majority of battles against a realm known as Ikalak. No other facts could be found of the time he spent there, or the people he meet there.

After years of fighting in a distant land, Kusanagi returned home and rejoined his fathers business "Which grew in his absence and became a small trading company". Upon his return Kusanagi was put in charge of the Ketampkin sector where he would deliver food to such realms as Plergoth,Mesh, and in later years, the southern realms of Irombrozia and Riombara.
