Mio Dupaki

West of the city of Grehk lies this rich townsland. Green hills and fertile fields are dotted by clusters of small hamlets. But the peacefull picture is treacherous: Since one of the main highways of the south leads through this region, it has seen countless battles: During the first war between Luz and Riombara in the third age, during both undead invasions and especially during the Great War again between Luz de Bia and Riombara during the third age. Every army marching to or from Grehk towards Luz or Enweil must cross through here if they do not want to brave the crags and treacherous passes of the mountains of Bym. Thus many green mounds may be seen - the final restingplace of countless warriors.

Next to one of those mounds stands a pillar made of stone, topped by a gruesome iron spike. Chiseled deeply into the pillar, a wanderer may read:

'Here lies the hero Krager, warrior of Riombara. He fell through treason during a battle in November 1006 - the traitor Alaned, after being welcomed to our ranks, did betray his realm, his brothers and the men who had sworn to die for him. His treason shall not be forgotten. May his dreams be haunted by the men who died because of him, may his steps be followed by shadows, may he never find peace and may all his works turn to dust. This spike will hunger and call to him until it carries his head.'
