Artefacts
Upon arriving on Beluaterra each of the factions began to search for the same five artefacts. The purpose of these treasures was unknown at first, and since then many conflicting views have been suggested.
They are:
- Elemental Hammer of Betrayl
- Ancient Sabre of Daemonslaying
- Legendary Plate Mail of Strength
- Daemonic Girdle of Leadership
- Broken Mace of Suffering

The purpose of the original artefacts was to seal off some of the gates below. They wield extraordinary power when brought together, but unfortunately, they were not, so here we are today...facing a full out invasion that could have been prevented had humanity come to her senses a little "faster. ~General Sarge, Ancestor Legion

It is the difference between these two points, each separated by months of fighting, that has lead the scholars to throw up their hands in frustration. It is theorized that the dead wished the artefacts for some other, selfish, purpose but the only idea proposed is that the five together can be used to halt a God, thus crippling one of the other factions. One thing is certain, it would be in the best interest of humanity to collect the five in one place, if only to see what happens.
