Oof!

"Nooooo!! THA-RI-ONNNN!" Yleina screamed in shock, as the Knights of Nbasah charged directly into the ranks of the Frost Guard. The Captain General had been fighting on the front line, as usual, and took the brunt of the cavalry charge. His trained men held their box formation, however, but the girl saw the golden armor disappear from view at her position behind the two infantry groups.

Frantically, she elbowed her way forwards through the men at the fourth line of the Frost Guard, who cried out in surprise at the disturbance. She yelled his name again, hoping he was alright, because she still did not see him rise from his fall. Then, the second line parted slightly, and she caught a glimpse of gold plate. Immediately, she tried to squeeze through the third line, but the soldiers refused to yield. One of them cautioned the crazed girl sternly.

"Lady! Move back! You are disrupting our lines!"

Then the speaker turned his attention back to the action and helped to push their ranks into the enemy. Yleina suddenly felt hands grabbing her arm and pulling her back. When she turned to berate the daring soul, her eyes met those of Lutolf, her captain. "Hey, who--"

"Milady, the General is fine! Look, there he stands again!" The girl turned to the front and verified that his words were true, which calmed her racing emotions slightly. "Come, let us be of use in this fight and flank the cavalry! Their charge has been halted, so they are more vulnerable now!"

Slowly nodding her understanding, Yleina followed Lutolf back away from the Frost Guard and towards their left flank; the Emerald Daggers were already swinging around to engage the Knights of Nbasah. Suddenly finding themselves fighting a two-front battle, the cavalry unit tried to regroup valiantly, but the damage was done.

Moments later, they were forced to retreat. The men of Taylin's Swords were not far behind; after they noticed the black-armored special forces fanning out with their impressive, spiked tower shields to smash them against the blades of The Silver Lining in a vise trap, the infantry's resolve broke, and they fled in panic.

As the soldiers exulted in their victory, Yleina spotted Tharion amidst his unit and ran to him straightaway. She stopped short with a gasp when she noticed that a flowing line of blood ran from his shoulder all the way down his side. Then she sheathed her daggers, which were not even used during the battle, and leaped on him with a hug.

"Oof!"

Teary-eyed, the girl looked up into his pale blue eyes and softly asked, "Are you hurt badly, my lord?"

A cacophony of ahems and coughs sounded around the pair, and Captain Gottolf of the Frost Guard casually remarked, "He will be if you don't stop suffocating him, M'lady..." Another round of ahems and coughs sounded, intermingled with quite a few snickers and lewd laughs. Poor Yleina's face turned a dark shade of crimson, and she buried her face into Tharion's chest to hide her embarassment. Her long, raven-black hair helped to hide the sides of her face, as she neglected to wear her helmet for this battle.
