Democrats of Fontan,
It has been so long since I have sung a song or argued a principle for this realm that I feel as if I have been distant from you all. I would like you to know that it was not because your Hero of Democracy has lost faith or the nerve to uphold our outstanding realm, but in fact that I have been busy in my private life.
You see, for some time now I have been courting a young noble Lady from An Najaf. Over the past few seasons we have been spending as much time as we could when I am not on the march. Of late, I have done what I thought I would never do, I have decided to marry her. I know, I know, I always said that Democracy was my bride and that I would live and die for her, but as I grow older and more experienced I felt that my life was a bit singular. With my new love in my life, Lady Cerise, I am more fulfilled. Although this may further occupy my time, it may also make my passion for Democracy all the more fueled. Now I have so much more to sing and argue for since I am beginning a family here.
So, I would like to announce a very small wedding ceremony in An Najaf, in my old estate, and anyone who has the time and the proximity is invited to attend. Since she is from An Najaf, her whole family will be there, and a few of my brothers and all my sisters from Dulbin are coming. The ceremony will be held tomorrow. There will be a dinner afterwards near the shore, the place where we first met.
I hope some or all of you can come.

The Hero of Democracy’s blessed day arrived and the family’s of the couple gathered with cheer. Armstrong’s siblings were pleased he had decided to marry since he had always said he never would. They wanted him to be happy, and they especially wanted him to start a family. With Lady Cerise joining their family it was assured that the Ironsides on the East Continent would grow. Armstrong was the oldest of Jagur’s children and to him the Patriarchy would be inherited.
It was a clear cool day in An Najaf when Armstrong married Cerise. The ceremony was small and took place on the Plantation near the Hero of Democracy’s former estate.
After they were wed, the party moved to the beach where they feasted and drank wines and spirits provided by Count Aulus until the sun set.
It was a wonderful family occasion and a happy day for the couple.

Well this is truly an event to celebrate! My best wishes to both you and Lady Cerise, may you live long and happily together!
I am afraid I cannot make the Wedding by tomorrow, the elves have decided to make me dance with them instead, and I hope and humbly pray you can forgive me for this. As soon as I can relieve myself of my military commitments I will make all haste and every effort to travel down and visit you, should you and your wife be able to spare the time for me.
I have ordered the Steward in Oberndorf to crack open the Manor's Celler and select some Wines to be sent to you, it is rumoured there as some rarish beverages down there, though not being a man of drink I have never gone to have a look. I trust he will collect a good few bottles for your enjoyment.

Your provisions have been greatly enjoyed by my guests, some of them enjoyed it too much. I will be back in service tomorrow night, as this night I am occupied with the lovely one.
If you had asked me a year ago when I was getting married I would have told you you're nuts. Now I am wed and going to begin a family. Life moves on I guess. I just hope she does not mind stepping aside when I must devote myself to my first love, my true love, Democracy.
