Irombro (Region)

Irombro was originally the capitol city of the city-state known as Irombrar, in the First Age of Beluaterra. Irombrar formed one nation with the Rines Republic, making Riombara, and Irombrar was no more. It was retaken by Riombara after the Undead Invasions and, during the Great War of the third age, seceded under the leadership of Duke Marc Keithson to form Irombrozia, a nation rebelling from Riombara.

It is also the site of one of the largest Qyrvaggian temples, and is currently the capitol of Irombro. In September of 1006 it's population was depleted below 50% by Luz de Bian and Avalonien forces, but it has recovered.

The city of Irombrozia has 4 primary quarters. The Government Quarter in the northwest where nobles dwell, the palace is located, etc, centered around Guthrieman Plaza and Marc Avenue. The Artisan's Quarter in the southeast where merchants and traders dwell, the Peasant Quarter in the northeast, this is the largest quarter due to the large number of inhabitants of Irombro, and the Monument quarter in the southwest, where museums, the Irombro Opera House, monuments, etc, are located. Also, there is an extensive system of underground catacombs and tunnels known as the "Fifth Quarter", most well known as the holdout of Irombrozian forces whenever Irombro is attacked or, in peace time, as the site of all the good parties.
