Proper Subpaging

This is BattleMaster wiki, not Church of Qyrvagg Wiki. Learn to keep proper article structure. -Gsklee 16 December 2005 07:51 (CET)

Oh, I apologize. this is my first time doing sub pages like that. For future reference, how do I go about naming them in that slash format, and still have links just saying Positions, or Beliefs, etc? Thanks for helping me out, it wont happen again! Vellos 16 December 2005 13:22 (CET)

How To Create Subpages

Using slashes:

[[Example]] is the page.

[[Example/Subpage]] the "/" makes the page "Subpage" a subpage of "Example".

Thus, if you want to make a subpage of [[Church_Of_Whatever]] called "Beliefs" or "Rituals", then you would put [[Church_Of_Whatever/Beliefs]]. If you add a "|" to that, you can change what is displayed. Church_Of_Whatever/Beliefs now becomes Beliefs. If you need/want more help, drop me a comment on my Talk page. ~ Marc J. 23 December 2005 19:30 (CET)

Also, what continent is the "Church of Qyrvagg" from? ~ Marc J. 23 December 2005 19:31 (CET)
The Church of Qyrvagg is without a home. :( We currently have our main position in Valentia, In Beluaterra. But, we are intercontinental. We run messages between our ten members or so across continents, using family ties, and occasionally, if we need to, guild messaging services (this occurs primarily in Atamara). We dont have any official IC stuff, like a guild or realm. But, who knows.... :D Thinking about joining us? *wink wink*

Discussion About the Religion Cat.

Re comments on my user page.

Don't you think "destroying work" is a bit strong ?

I'm not doing it for fun, but to make the cats more useful.

Should family pages have Island catergories ? Should every edition of a newspaper have an Island catergory ?

Is is it not redundany when I go to the religion catergory, and all subpages for a religion are entered there ?

Why would anybody want that ?

Whining about EC on the D-list needs sorting out

You heard about the most recent plans to stir things up on EC? If you're interested in taking part email me or leave a comment on my user page. I miss taking part in big conspiracies with Hireshmont ;) --The1exile 19:07, 25 June 2006 (CEST)

Ah, that explains it. I sent you an email before about it. A little something about the non-exisistent third side on the EC, and we might be getting some characters together to stop this and carve out a legend in our own right. We intend to talk to New Hope about it, which should shed a bit of light. Think Full Coverage--The1exile 21:51, 25 June 2006 (CEST)

Sorry about not restoring the OO, I didn't revert to that version before so it got lost when I was sorting it out. --The1exile 17:34, 4 July 2006 (CEST)

I'm pretty much cannablaising this section from the original header into any commenrts by me... but notice what you forgot to delete before?

Nice Image. If you upload an Image onto the wiki, and create a realm will Tom use it? And are you 15 yet :)(jk).--Twinblade 22:40, 27 July 2006 (CEST)

But I mean is it possible? I may be in a situation like that very soon. And it would be nice if i could make my own CoA. Oh and you never answered my question. You 15 yet? Hmm Hmm, dont change the subject! =P--Twinblade 23:02, 27 July 2006 (CEST)

Userpage Edit

Took the liberty of updating your characters. Didn't your sister quit too? Thought I remembered something from the D-list on that. Anyway, hello lyman! --Bishamon Family 00:38, 16 August 2006 (CEST)

BC

Yeah, Widfara is evil... how could you not know that? did he not have an avid itnerest in screwing over other realms?

But I don't do BC stuff, I just changed that link, as ARSE will take more prominence if it all goes through like it's supposed to. --The1exile 20:30, 19 August 2006 (CEST)

Oligarch's Page

It's good to see that someone still cares. I was just about to re-build the page... but you got there first! :P ~ Marc J. 18:19, 19 October 2006 (CEST)

TMB

" You can recite every realm, on every continent, from memory."

You mean this isn't normal? Oops... at least I can't usually keep up with the names of secesssions :D --The1exile 11:15, 12 November 2006 (CET)

Char on BT

Heheh... yeah yeah, get lost, I intend to make general by the time Rio turns it's attentions to annexing you rebel scum! :D

Seriously though, Rio is great fun - as to coming to Irombrozia, your pathetic realm, with you to argue with as general, and next to no taxes? And not being able to feel pride in assisting in planningthe attack on Grekh?

Already I can't wait for the new tax system to be turned on - got an oath as a knight of Rines for 5% of the tax income - in the second biggest city on the continent, that's one fat oath.

Assuming I stick around, it will be great fun to eventually match wits with you from the other side of a batlefield :) --The1exile 23:09, 25 November 2006 (CET)

Herkan isn't the general right now, Quinn is, and already I've had to make pointed suggestions. Anyway, you know nothing about my military side of things - have you ever fought me in a battle? Dunno how great Herkan is because I haven't seen him perform. I assure you though,, becoming general of a 16 region realm on the EC is no mean feat - and no, they did not know that Alex would die a few days later.

Oh, and also, Herkan has trouble with the upper levels. --The1exile 23:18, 25 November 2006 (CET)

1. Rio is a republic, which means that the general is appointed... it's easy to have a hidden (non-existent) votes for yourself... Just have to ask the right people.

2. Hell no. Gorch has already seen what Queer fag ism is doingin Rio through your ludmouthed twit Sendan, and that'smore than enough to put him off, though not quite enough to make me want to put him into Yggdrasili. Also, Gorch's loyalties lie to Riombara - more specifically, to Delvin.

3. I am confident that you are wrong that you could outdo me strategically and that if you looked through Gorch's RP you could find many points of vulnerability, but in temrs of strategy, I could hand your behind to you even in a fair fight. :) The problem, as always, is that we are very unlikely to have a fair fight. Believe me, I learnt a LOT in my time as 2IC of Div I (unofficial before General) and have liased with many other people to hone that info still further - I even tried writing it out as a course for AoK and have pretty much come to halt because of the huge amounts of stuff I've written, and still learn. --The1exile 23:37, 25 November 2006 (CET)

Gorch is not one of Delvin's "lackeys" as you say... Gorch holds a great respect for the prime minister, and as he was one of the first to welcome him to the realm, his loyalties are far greater to him than to any religion. He also likes Laoch a lot (Duke of Rines) - he even requested an oath of fealty from him because Laoch gave him gold for his unit.

Sendan is basically a very annoying fundie queerist. What he says will be fore you to find out :)

And as for mine, you can predict everything Gorch does also... it's called being an RPer. But for me you don't have to look closely, most of it is in the Meta Character notes. It's even just in the way he dresses, and the way he conducts himself.

As for your guarantee, I don't believe you. But who's to say? It's a matter of opinion, until we have the chance to test it - if you want to convince Tom to let us both have our own super realms on WC startup, be my guest :)--The1exile 23:51, 25 November 2006 (CET)

The idiot with his idiotic pages

Hey, I don't hold any title, I can bark at him all I like ;). Besides, with an attitude like that on the wiki, I'm sure he acts no more honnourably in-game. -Chénier 04:14, 8 December 2006 (CET)

Yeah, he's stupid and I really doubt he will ever takeover a realm properly via rebellion with his tips - though it's true that he can't be banned for posting it, he can be banned if he comes into my realm and says "I'm using the ancient pages from Dispose That Imbecile!!! as my source!"... --The1exile 11:25, 8 December 2006 (CET)
He can not lead a sucessful rebelion with that, it's that plain simple. No one would follow someone who does this, expept those bribed, with tend to be low-ranking nobles anyways, as the higher-ranking nobles can achieve their goal in the original realm and preserve their name. No realm would look favorable upon the new realm, and indeed, some, if not the one suffering from it, will march in and claim the regions. -Chénier 03:39, 10 December 2006 (CET)

King Marc's Execution

Cedric will probably pass on that Fronen fully supports Riombara. However, a good deal of us are growing greatly irritated of the realm. A majority of us, from what I've seen, oppose the execution. Though I fail to see your logic behind the recent attack and if there is any honour in it, I wish you luck in your bid for vengeance. -Chénier 03:15, 20 December 2006 (CET)

Shadow Collective Help

I'd love your help in this matter. How should I contact you? My Atamaran char is going up north but not really in the direction of Norland. --Rojo 04:00, 16 January 2007 (CET)

I'm heading out towards Darka/Talerium direction. I'll be sure to check out the guilds you mentioned. --Rojo 04:20, 16 January 2007 (CET)

Ancient Atamara

Well, I didn't have anything really fleshed out, which is why I'm not doing it myself. That and laziness. :P Mainly the idea is that the "tons" and "burgs" and "villes" of modern Abington are from modern times and modern ethnicities/languages. Originally Suville was just Su (or Sul, or Sun, or something like that); Wayburg was just Way (or Whale perhaps), and there was no "Abington." The Su had the Sun Empire, which is basically the territory of the modern Duchy of Suville plus Narville. Riverholm and Stoneville weren't cities yet and the Riverholm area was repeatedly invaded/colonized by the Sea Folk over a few hundred years. Now the people of Suville area could be as with rest of Atamara - colonized by East Continent. Or, what I like, is in these ancient times they were aboriginal/native peoples who were later colonized/invaded by the EC nobles (who brought with them their own language and culture, which in combination with the natives made what is now distinctly Atamaran culture). Hence Sun (or whatever) becomes Suville. Etc. House Olik 07:50, 16 January 2007 (CET)

Talk:Fronen Rebellion Jan 07/Summary

Unbiased? At the start, pretty much, exept for a few points that should, in my opinion, be pointed out. At the end, no, it gets as biased as can as you scroll down. I won't go explaining anything though, because I prefer such things to be done IC, and LJ is too ashamed to talk about it and JO will not be able to... -Chénier 18:02, 17 January 2007 (CET)

User Talk:Bannable

Haha! Why you bastards steal my ideas! :D --Bannable 22:13, 10 February 2007 (CET)

Excellent idea! Have you talked with Chénier?

"Ka"? What tha heck!?! Bannable seems to know more than me... I'll go check his pages... -Chénier 02:11, 12 February 2007 (CET)
I agree, "Ka" is lame, I'm obviously the correct one! --Bannable 02:40, 12 February 2007 (CET)

2 Families?

Hey Lyman, I know your sister played this game (or still does I dunno...). Did you get any criticism or accusations or anything for that? Because I've got a 12-year old brother, David (who probably won't even like the game once he starts it) that really wants to try BM. Of course, I'm incredibly afraid that having 2 accounts on the same computer will make it look like one or both of us are multi-cheating. I'm hesitant to let him start an account. Do you, having been in the same situation, think I should let him play? --Alex 01:42, 18 June 2007 (CEST)

Ha, I knew it. My brother started a family, realized that its all just text and didn't want to play anymore. So much for that. Thanks for the advice though. BM's really the kind of game you either love or you hate. --Alex 22:21, 18 June 2007 (CEST)

EV Nova

Hey did u get the name for your family from EV nova? ;)

Oryhara ftw! On another note, must watch out for Hireshmont's T1 bilities ;) Ceorl 04:26, 4 June 2008 (CEST)

Shadow Collective

I'm interested in either starting or joining the Shadow Collective on Atamara. Does it exist? I'd rather not duplicate efforts. --egamma 03:11, 17 March 2009 (UTC)(golrug from Makar)

Moot Ticker

Ticker articles are manually written and posted by wiki users, jut like regular "main" articles. There is no way to access the game news feed for automated wiki posting. I just post whatever types of things I think fit the category of "ticker" posts. --Indirik 03:07, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

Estonism

What ever came of it? Did it stay purely OOC or was anything brought into the game? If it was purely OOC I want to either delete it or move it to a subpage of your wiki page. --Ethan Lee Vita (Talk), Editor and Community Manager 22:34, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

It is defunct; you can delete it. Vellos 00:09, 21 February 2010 (UTC)

Dwilight University Locations

As Dean of Students, I believe they were built in Springdale, Rye, Yaren, Donghaiwei, Aquilegia, and Ashrak (in that order I believe). I'm not at a University at the moment, but once I am (or someone else is), they can add the locations to the wiki. --Ethan Lee Vita (Talk), Editor and Community Manager 01:47, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

Global Map

Actually, you're wrong about the Colonies. They did have a place geographically. Look at the old Spellmaster map on Maps: Image:Bm_map_old.jpg. I would note that Tom, despite the interesting idea of an overall map, has always opposed it with statements that the islands aren't built to be in certain geographic relation with each other. --Ethan Lee Vita (Talk), Editor and Community Manager 12:58, 19 April 2010 (UTC)

I'm aware of the colonies location. You'll note it's actually very similarly located in the map I assembled, slightly further to the northeast, but generally fairly close. That said, I was unaware of Tom's thoughts about the islands. I did it largely just as a curiosity. Vellos 18:42, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
