Mungo Hossenfeffer

Head of the Hossenfeffer family.

At 65 years old, Mungo is one of the elders of the East Continent. He first fought under the banner of the now lost nation of Omsk, and when that small and humble realm fell, he sought sanctuary in Oligarch. There he proved himself a stalwart and reliable leader of men, serving as Judge for a time, taking an active part in many battles against the Northern Alliance of Sirion, Fontan, and Old Rancagua, eventually being awarded first Countship of Dulbin and finally the Dukedom of Westmoor for his efforts.

He was still in the ducal seat when the tide of war finally turned against Oligarch and its allies. He was the last noble of Oligarch to stay on in Westmoor when it was surrounded, and he was constantly assaulted by assassins, many of whom underestimated his skill with a blade, to their own cost. The people of Westmoor, loyal to the end, rose up time after time to prevent the forces of the Northern Alliance from maintaining an effective siege, but eventually the weight of numbers of the invaders proved too strong, and Westmoor fell.

Oligarch City was lost soon after, and Mungo travelled to serve under the banner of Caligus. Here he now serves as Baron of Aestus.
