Personal History

Alasdair, son of Fintan, began his career at the young age of 17, when he set forth from his family estates in Mansbridge in the realm of Minas Ithil, on the island of Atamara. Pledging his fealty to the lord of his realm, the Viscount Ted Zepplins, Alasdair became a vassal of the Viscount and received a commission as a commander in York's Elite Army.

Christening his small company the Brown Cap Guard (for the distinct brown leather caps they wore), Alasdair set forth to join the army in its campaign against the forces of Tara and their allies.

Appearance and Personality

Of average height and build, Alasdair's most arresting feature is his eyes. Piercing and bold, they gaze out from under his heavy brow as they gauging the worth of every human being that they pass over. Unlike his fraternal twin Padraig, Alasdair keeps his brown hair cut short. He keeps a more serious demeanor than his brother, slow to smile and slower still to celebrate -- his steely eyes are ever focused on winning honor and glory for the Havershim name and he permits himself few distractions. His dress is modest but proper for his station. In Alasdair's mind, there is greater prestige in a dented shield and notched blade than in all the silken garments and golden rings in all the realms of Atamara.
