Havershim Family
Family History
A family of minor nobles, the Havershims originally hailed from the city of York, in the realm of Minas Ithil on the island of Atamara, where patriarch Donald once served the then-Duke as a minor administrator. For services rendered, the family was awarded estates in the newly conquered region of Mansbridge, and the Havershims prepared to write a new chapter in their history.
Of Donald's two sons, the elder, Cormack, remained behind to govern the estate and manage the family's fortunes. The younger, Fintan, went forth into battle to bring glory and honor to his name. Fintan's career, however, was short and bloody, and he was killed in battle shortly after marrying Lady Gertrude Westerly of Dunstoke.
Their union produced two sons, the fraternal twins Alasdair and Padraig, who have since embarked upon their own quests to honor the Havershim family name and improve its fortunes.
