The Hagakure Family

The Hagakure family, Originally from Pucallpa (East Continent) is a family of nobles who earned their money in the sheep and farming trade. The head of the family Naoshige married the lady Kannon and produced two children Mathros and Xena.

The Hagakure family was brought into disrepute early in Naoshige's life when he fathered an illegitimate son known as Yamamoto who was exiled across the sea. This was before his marriage to Kannon and the affair is not to be discussed.

Early Years

Mathros and Xena were originally both knights under Murphy Guardians the lord of Kazan and General of the Sultanate of Asena. When David Iron Heart stepped down as ruler of Asena Murphy ascended to the throne and Mathros became the baron of Kazan. [2011-03-05]

Murphy shortly died of a serious stroke and Asena was plunged into a series of rulers and bad luck; Alparson who was seriously ill and was unable to attend to his duties and Leandros Galvez who was killed in battle. This was a great blow to Mathros' hopes for Asena as Leandros was the first ruler that he felt had really taken Asena in the right direction. After this moment Mathros and also to some extent Xena began to become disillusioned with the realm as a whole. During the first few weeks of the reign of Tenya Vasata the general at that time Ghengis D'han was imprisoned in Stora by the Obsidion islanders. During this time Mathros was elected with a strong majority as General 2011-05-02 . However trouble in the realm made it increasingly difficult for him to do this job and he soon abandoned it and the realm. The Obsidion Islanders during this time took Kazan and a Sirion force had invaded Gadlock. Mathros was having trouble getting enough combat strength to fight these armies and the discipline necessary to move the armies when appropriate. After little more than a week Mathros stepped down from this position and decided to leave Asena along with his sister a decision greatly disliked [understandably] by the realm.

On the road Xena and Mathros parted company in Bruck wishing each other the best of luck as they felt their destinies lay in other realms. Mathros decided to join Westmoor while Xena opted to travel south and join the realm of Perdan.

Xena has since grown more prestigious than her brother Mathros being promoted as a knight and in army status in Perdan both for her reliability in troop movement and organisation of her archers on the field. Mathros settled into a lesser job as a knight of Evora in Westmoor.

Naoshige withdrew his support from Xena saying he had no respect for a daughter who joined an enemy of his homeland and his conversations in letter with Mathros have been known to be brief whom he felt should not have abandoned his post.
