The Gibson family hails from Atamara, in the Magnificant Cagilan Empire. They hold a large estate in Nida, and proudly serve the land.

Ferdinand

Ferdinand, the son of Timothy and Drieir Gibson, set out from his home in Nida soon after his 20th birthday. Unsure of what he sought, he decided to try a more exciting life than that of managing his father's estate by becoming a knight. He had heard that the city of Skalk would be an excellent place to start his search for a liege, and was not disapointed. Entering service under the Duke of Skalk, Dakkon Blackblade, Ferdinand entered his new career with ghusto. Ferdinand was assigned to The Lightning and has participated in several key campaigns against Falasan. He assisted in the recent take over of Nazgorn early in February. He is also the proud owner of the helmet, the Deamonic Helm of the Volcano.

Anne

Anne, the daughter of Timothy and Drieir Gibson, began her career at the age of 17. Although Anne's mother felt strongly that her daughter should not become a warrior, Anne and her father were eventually able to win her over. After joining the Guardians of Ered Luin, Anne has made her mark across the Cagilan Empire by defending her homeland against monsters and undead.

Theron

Theron, the nephew of Timothy Gibson and son of Henrik Gibson, grew up in Nida. Theron ran away from his family at the age of 20 to become an adventurer on the East Continent after a monster horde killed his beloved Elizabeth.

The Meeting

A handsome and tall young man with wavy golden hair and bright blue eyes, Theron was renowned for his excellent hunting skills.

One day, Theron was conducting some business in Nida when he spotted a beautiful young girl across the street. She had long brown hair and a soft demeanor. She was obviously the daughter of a peasant, but she captivated him. He quickly found an excuse from his duties and made his way across to the other side of the street. When Theron introduced himself, the girl smiled sweetly. The girl's name was Elizabeth. They talked for awhile and arranged to meet again.

A week later, Theron met her near the watchtower of Nida and they decided to travel into the country for a picnic. Near a small fresh woodland stream whose location was known only to Theron, they talked throughout the afternoon. Theron told of his great hunts and Elizabeth listened intently. Elizabeth told of her family and childhood and Theron found himself falling in love with her.

In Secret

After several months, Theron finally decided it was the right time to tell his family about Elizabeth. Upon hearing the news, his father went into a rage. "How could you? You are of noble birth - my son! How could you even think of being seen with a commoner - a lowly peasant!" roared his father angrily. His father demanded that Theron never see Elizabeth again. At first, Theron tried to obey his father but after awhile he could not stand it. Theron and Elizabeth began meeting secretly. Theron would often detour to Elizabeth's cottage on his way back from town to be with her. Often she would be out alone tending her family's garden or working in the fields and they would talk for hours.

Vengance

Just before his 20th birthday, Theron had to travel to the city of Skalk. While he was gone, a monster horde went on a rampage near Nida. Elizabeth was gathering some wheat when the horde rampaged through the field she was working in. Neighbors said she was trampled under foot by the monsters and died before they could get her to a healer. When news reached Theron, he was heartbroken and distraught with grief. His father, however, declared that it he was pleased to hear that this commoner would be out of Theron's life for good and now Theron could move on to better things. Theron's feelings finally boiled over into a rage. He vowed that he would never set foot in his father's house again would avenge his beloved's death. He would become an adventurer and destroy every last monster he could find. He left the Gibson estate for good and bought passage on a ship headed for the East Continent.
