An vast ancient woodland spans the entire region of [[Eisenik]], home to a large variety of plants and animals alike. The old growth vegetation, stretch up to form a canopy so thick in places that it leaves the undergrowth in perpetual darkness. A single large road splits the trees forming a sunlit path to allow trade between [[Unterstrom]] and the peninsula cities. Several hunting villages occupy the way side, selling their game to the caravans passing by. A lesser road connects to the near by coastal region of [[Shilorak]]. At the crossroads lie the largest village, housing the Lords manor, local granaries, guild houses, recruitment centers and marketplace. Several old forgotten paths lead deeper into the forest, but these are mostly used by brave locals in search of rare medical herbs or to hunt for the savage beasts that occupy much of the uninhabited woods.
