Description

The rich town of Dizzedo is located on the northern island of Libidizedd. As the worshipers of the Bloodstars regard the city of Libidizedd as the Holy City, Dizeddo as its neighbouring region also has a significant meaning. Dizeddo never knew the guiding hand of civilization until the nobles from Astrum conquered it, first ever in the history of this town. The region is also known as the first Astrum-conquered place aside from the capital of Libidizedd; a point from which the expansion of Astrum truly began. It is therefore is hailed a good omen amongst the people of Astrum. To its west it borders with the rural region of Libiddo; a home of many brave warriors of these lands.

Soon after the government of Dizeddo was established, the region became known within the nobility as a luxurious place far from the crowds of Libidizedd, the home of excellent wine and olives. As such, extensive groves of vineyards and trees can be seen along the coastline.

The town is one of the most prosperous places in Astrum and Dwilight. It's large amounts of gold and food ranks it as the best supplier of foodstuffs in the realm. It will be a pleasure to see what future brings to it and to Astrum...

Buildings

The sight to ease the weary travelers eye is definitely the Temple of Sanguis Astroism. The temple provides sanctuary for the people here, and it is a place where they pray to the Stars for good harvest and easy winters. Dizeddo is also a home of the fearsome Champions of Light; a devoted infantry organization designed specifically to conquer and defend in the name of Astrum, and to spread the words of Sanguis Astroism. Champions are supposedly the best infantry center in whole the Mediterranean hinterlands.

Another building that makes the people of Dizeddo proud, is the first ever built Scouting Guild in Astrum. The scouts are known as the Pathfinders of the Lost. Their development in the early days of Astrum proved to be essential. The exact reports were finally presented to the nobility, whether it be about region characteristics or the exact numbers of beasts that endanger stability. Their skills have also shown faster travel routes for the armies because of their knowledge of the secret paths and the knowledge of the nature itself. In this "guild" there are all sorts of people; from the popular seafarers of the Inner Dwilight Sea to the mightiest warriors of Astrum. The members are eager to see when will other regions build similar guilds, so that they can exchange the knowledge among themselves.

Culture

One of the new teachings in Astrum, whose philosophy is still mysterious and not defined, but somehow associated with the stars...

The spread of culture has arrived along with civilization to Dizeddo. With new immigrants that come daily in town, new ideas that break the horizons blossom. The progress of systemized military organisation is being developed and teached in the first military and war academies. The local government is trying to focus the funds to both help development of Dizeddo and Astrum.

The people here are, as the region permits them, more interested in education and thinking than, to them, "primitive" and peasant work. As such, the prosperitiy of science bloosoms, from aritmetics and engineering to chemistry and agriculture. As a result, it gave a numeorus number of philosophers, engineers, alchemists and medicians. Dizeddo also cherishes the improvement of literature and poetry. New books are being written, alphabet prospers, poems are becoming more and more significant amongst the people mainly because of their hidden messages, which in result gave birth to all kinds of legends, myths and quests.
