Roleplay from Antonine Octavius

Lady Kaylan McDowell and her husband, Lord Antonine Octavius, Heir of his House, were sitting comfortably in a carriage on its way to a nearby harbour.

Holding hands and leaning against each other, they were both looking forwards to what awaited them at the end of their trip. Kaylan had recently discovered that she was pregnant and that had spurred both of them to decide to leave the Lurias and their politics and squabbles for a more comfortable and safer life. The ship which awaited them would convey them to Port Nebel, where Antonine's family home was located. There they would stay until the child was born and, once the child was strong enough, they would travel onwards to Kaylan's own ancestral homeland - something which Antonine had finally agreed to after much "discussion" with Kaylan.

Truth be told, Antonine was curious to see the land which had given the world the most amazing woman he had ever known, even if they did speak a tongue which he had no knowledge of.

At the moment, neither of them could quite belief that they were about to settle down to a life of familial bliss after their eventful lives but nor did either of them have any misgivings. This would be a new adventure for both of them and they could not wait for it to begin.
