Formerly of Springdale, Croton is a central region of Virovene, it produces the largest quantities of food in the whole realm. It borders the Morek at Nimh, Taishan and Bohai. There was once a major road in the north which skirts Mt. Black Nastrond linking Muspelheim and Nifelhold. Its produce is shipped all over Virovene and is the primary food source for the city of Muspelheim. The area is viewed by many scholars as being of archaeological importance as its many small ruins and barrows from the region's ancient past are constantly studied. It is believed that a city may have once existed on the ground which today is covered by fields of wheat and corn, but this is only speculation from the high concentration of ruins in the area. The region's lordship has also been labeled as cursed by many nobles because of the nature of the lords to disappear after appointment though this is just exaggeration.
