Cathay/Government officers in Cathay

Except ruler, government officers in Cathay are elected by all nobles of Cathay regularly, and receive allowance for their services.

• King/Queen (ruler) is the head of the state, and handles foreign affairs.
• High Marshal (general) is the chief commander of all armies, and appoints all Marshals and other military advisors.
• High Chancellor (judge) is the law protector and enforces Constitution of Cathay and other laws passed by House of Lords.
• Royal Treasurer (banker) is the head of Treasure Committee, which controls the collecting and disbursement of Cathay's treasury, and administers tax collection, food production, and trading throughout Cathay.

King/Queen

The Free Kingdom of Cathay is a realm founded on the principles of noblesse oblige, feudal tradition, and chivalry.

Royal Privy Council

• Royal Privy Council consists of all landed lords and Royal Advisors
• Royal Privy Council may overrule the Crown with a 2/3 super-majority.
• Royal Advisors are ready candidates for future lordship positions and government positions.

War Council

• War Council consists of Marshals, Armies Sponsors, and Military Advisors.
• High Marshal has the authority to appoint all Marshals.
• No one should possess more than one military ranks.

Councilorship

• Candidates should have actively served Cathay or her allies with proven loyalty.
• Candidates should write an application to the council and obtain recommendations.
• Appointment is based on contribution, participation, and seniority, and is not guaranteed.
• Inactive Advisors will automatically retire after 30 days.
