History
When searched, even less information can be found about Zed's bizarre associate. And the few pages that are discovered, appear fresh and are most likely of little factual truth. Rumour has it that he was once an insane, incoherent mess. Since Zed's psychological talents are better established among soldiers most tales believe Edward is either a successful or a failed case. Whatever it is that Zed did to him, created a man who combines a pleasantly disturbed mind and a unique thought process that manages to notice details and wisdoms others would miss, along with a soldier's experience.
Personality
Though rational and obviously intelligent, he is irreversibly insane. Not the gibbering, babbling type of madman, but in the sense that he has seen and experienced far more then any normal man should. His association with Zed, probably didn't improve things. This is proven by the fact that he is hardly surprised by any new sight. On occasion, merely slightly impressed. Most notable is that he doesn't seem to care for his own condition. Despite being a soldier, this has made him brash and careless. He spends his free time in taverns and bars, drinking far too much then what's good for him. He indulges in any drug offered too him be it drunk, smoked, consumed, snorted or injected. Furthermore he approaches and makes a move on any attractive woman he meets and to all of this, he is oblivious of the possible consequences.
