The Caergoth Chronicle is the first newspaper of the fledgling realm of Caergoth on the island of Atamara. Quartered in the City of Wayburg, the Chronicle aims for perfection, as nothing but the best is good enough for our dear readers. As the medium of the Hammer, we abide by Caergoth's three words of wisdom:

CaergothIcon.png Ishtar Takes High Wisdom Position
Written by Boudicca, on January 24, 1008
Our King and Grand Master, Magnus the Mighty, has stepped down from the position of High Wisdom due to the tedious duties of being our ruler. In his place, Lady Ishtar D'Anglos, Dame of Monagle, has been appointed our newest High Wisdom.

Congratulations to Lady Ishtar, and may she be blessed with wisdom to use her new role in forming Caergoth into a better and stronger realm than before.

CaergothIcon.png Battle in Werdham
Written by Malakas, on January 17, 1008
The Cagilian army has recently shocked the realms of Atamara, after telling all they were only going south "for the sunshine" they have attacked Suville in the province of Werdham, our allies and fellow offshoots of the dead Kingdom of Abington. This has occured before any declaration of war. The diplomatic situation is by no means clear but whatever the Cagilian Empire's intentions, an army of this size is enough to be seen as a declaration of war.

CaergothIcon.png New Viscountess of Lugrod
Written by Boudicca, on January 16, 1008
Viscountess Lefsuet, our former Marshal of Courage and the Sword has been appointed by our most noble King, Magnus the Mighty, to be the Lady of Lugrod. Our newest Viscountess left behind the mundanes of military life to tackle the new challenges of being a landed noble.

Being a former military figure, we may see Lugrod become an abode of fierce fighters and proud soldiers. Congratulations, Viscountess Lefsuet!

CaergothIcon.png Army in Chasnoff
Written by Malakas, on January 13, 1008
Recently a force of over 800 soldiers from Tara and the Cagilian Empire have marched into Caergoth, the majority stationing themselves in the province of Chasnoff. Rulers of the continent have been sending letters backwards and forwards in a flurry of paper, and though the army has so far shown no hostile intentions there are orders for the soldiers of Caergoth to march back to the capital Wayburg and keep watch. Their true target is not known, though this author suspects it may have something to do with the Protectorate of Magnus and the ASI. This is just bold speculation however on the part of the author.

CaergothIcon.png Restructing of Sudfern
Written by Boudicca, on January 12, 1008
Recently, various Nobles of Caergoth have donated copious amounts of gold to Duane, the Local Lord of the region of Sudfern. The Kingdom has plans to rebuild and reconstruct the different guilds and recruitment centers in the region to better suit the standards of the army.

May this project lead to a better and stronger Caergoth!

CaergothIcon.png The Opening of the Caergoth Chronicle
Written by Boudicca, on January 11, 1008
The Caergoth Chronicle, the first newspaper of the realm of Caergoth, officially opens to the public this January 11, 1008 in the city of Wayburg! I am glad and excited for the Chronicle, and may I see it soar to new heights with the Hammer.

Anyone who wishes to write for the Chronicle may do so, keeping in mind that all that is written in the newspaper must be true and neutral, and also keep in mind the format for writing for the Chronicle. Other than that, feel free to write articles for the enrichment of Caergoth's newspaper!
