While Melchior was wandering the streets of Enlod, a strange item caught his eye. At first glance, it appears to be like any other old leather bound book, full of many pages of worn parchment. However, the book is in reality bound in human flesh, specifically the flesh of the innocent, and the parchment made from human skin, rather than sheep or goat. The book contains many more pages than its size would indicate. As one turns the pages, there are always more left to read, as if more pages are constantly being added, though the book never seems to get any larger or heavier. It seems to unnerve those who read it, causing most to become violent.
