Arrival Anonymous

Franz stands before the brown haired Rugina and her three year old daughter in her lap, dressed in his embroidered creme doublet and trousers. Irlith, Rugina's dark skinned housecarl nods towards Tomas. He returns her nod with a grin and a wink.

Franz kneels before Rugina and the child, Serria points and exclaims with giggles "Faz! Faz!"

Everyone chuckles and Franz takes hold of Serria's hand with two fingers and gives her a handshake. "Good-Morning My little Lady!"

Rugina smiles at Franz and gives a quick squeeze to Serria before letting her down from her lap. "Go play with Marabella; Serria, ok sweetie?"

Serria shakes her head and gives her mother a squabble of "O-Ks!" And rushes out of the room, Leaving old Marabella rushing behind her.

Rugina's eyes follow Serria until she leaves the room, then she looks at Franz. "You have something new to say Sir Franz?"

Franz nods with a wide grin "Yes, but I still can't get over how cute she is! Her large pink eyes are adorable!-My Lady." Rugina laughs and Franz goes on. "The underground is stirring with rumors of a new masked noble arriving at one of the northern docks."

Rugina puts her head to one side, puzzled "The dock guards didn't verify him?"

Franz wiggles his nose, a common thing for him to do when he feels something goes deeper then it seems. "Aye, My Lady. Sources say money shifted hands, and someone overheard the Masked-man was headed south towards Montijo."

Irlith scowls "Bah! Corruption! Money changing one's duty and-" Rugina silences Her Housecarl by tapping her hand on her arm rest. Irlith bows her head and regains her stance behind Rugina's chair. Rugina smiles at Franz "I assume you will extend my welcome to our newcomer Sir Franz?"

"My Lady, he wants to stay hidden, I'm sure... in-fact a similar foreigner like him was seen boarding a ship not longer after him!" Franz points out.

Rugina lifts an eyebrow "Judging by your involvement... it must have been another masked-man, or a stunning woman."

Franz Laughs "Aye My lady. You pin me well. Though it is concerning that she has yet to arrive, my friends smuggling ships are fast and they know the seas better then anyone else... But that ship should be arriving sooner."

Rugina looks towards Irlith, who walks away towards the door to the room, and closes the door. Rugina nods at Irlith and then blinks and shots a glare at Franz "Watch them but do nothing else! If they plan anything to harm the integrity of Sirion I wish to know about it as soon as possible and I will have you and your friends take care of it."

Franz's grin gets wider and his elfish eyes get a wild look in them "Yes My Lady, and I will get-"

Rugina says in a tone of a hard bargainer "I will allow you to increase the flow of elicit herbs in several areas."

Franz sticks his gaunt hand out to Rugina. Rugina rises from her chair and puts her hand in his. Franz raises her hand to his lips where he kisses her fingers and agrees "I will be in touch."

Franz turns quickly and walks briskly out the door past Irlith.
