Morthwyl, Soldier of Svunnetland, Duke of Ipsosez, Royal Treasurer of Svunnetland

Morthwyl is the second brother to join the ranks of nobility. He knows how to fight, and is willing to dedicate himself to a worthy cause. He is a master strategist, and has a passion for philosophy. Seeking to escape from the endless wars in the EC, wars that claimed the life of his father, Morthwyl moved to the Far East.

In the Far East, Morthwyl found a warm welcome. He feels more at home here than he ever did in Perdan. Some shadows from his past do haunt him however. The murderer of his father has also moved to the Far East, and Morthwyl has sworn to bring him to justice.

After an unsuccesful attempt to save the city of Azros from the rebels that plague it, Morthwyl has returned to Ipsosez. Azros gave him only one thing, only now does he truly see the beauty of the mountains. Under his command the mighty Citadel regained some of its former glory, the battlements now ready to meet any foe.

In addition to his never-ending watch over the Citadel of Ipsosez, his King entrusted him with the financial well-being of the realm. He is currently looking for a way to make food trade a more dynamic enterprise by incorporating a system of prices that flows with the market, rather than the customary fixed prices.

Morthwyl has proven himself on the fields of Juazeiro, where a combined force from Perdan, Oligarch and Rancagua met an army from Old Rancagua, supported by many troops from Sirion. The battle lasted for hours and hours, and he lost many comrades, but in the end the enemy army was defeated and driven off the field.

Morthywyl, like his brothers, is a cleric of Tyr. Always the watchful one however, he has chosen the seldom-tread path of the Sentinel.
