By the way, is it really necessary to keep a complete list of completed deletions? If it is, can we at least Archive what's been done so far on a subpage as this page is getting ridiculously long now - Revan 02:07, 15 January 2007 (CET)

I don't think it is neccesary... feel free to delete stuff from the page, or I will tomorrow (or later today, technically). It'll remain in the history by way of archive. --The1exile 03:12, 15 January 2007 (CET)

Category / Template

Shouldn't we turn this into a template that can be added to pages that want to be deleted? Like Template:Cleanup, for example? --Tom 18:45, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

I discussed that with Bishamon Family a month or so ago. He decided it wasn't worthwhile. Personally, I think it's a great idea. Very easy for someone to add {{Delete|I typo'd the name}} to a page rather than have to go find some weird page somewhere, edit it, then add a link an explanation there. Also, the editor would never have to edit a page when deleting. You just delete the page and it's automatically gone from the category. --Indirik 18:56, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

I discussed it with Alex Davies and he didn't think it was a great idea. I don't care either way as long as its simple to use. I think we should get a short list of useful templates on the wiki as well. Stuff like hypothetical, OOC only, delete(if we do it) etc. --Vita Family 19:00, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

There is already one for templates that make editing easier: Category:Utility Templates. We could add one for "Meta Templates" or something. The key is to find a way to make them easy and useful. The category should be linked from several places where people might look, including the BattleMaster Wiki:Contents page. --Indirik 19:11, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
