The East Island has been hearing bad tidings. We know not what they are, we can only hope that we can piece together this mystery through the notes we have and what we think could be.

Bad Tidings
Rumours spread around the island. Strangers mumble weird tales in the local pubs. The priests are silent, but unusually busy. Something is amiss.

I visited the priests, giving them the max amount of gold, and the message given was completely normal, with no hint at all about these events. They did not bless my troops, however.

Rumours
Rumours are spreading through the lands that a prophet has appeared in Akesh Temple. Though his words are mysterious and difficult to grasp, his main message appears to be one of a painful rebirth. Religious leaders appear to be of split opinion on the man, some attempting to interpret his words while others label him a heretic.

Rumours are spreading quickly throughout the land, that a crazy old man is preaching of doom and destruction in Sirion Castle. It appears that a small cult has sprung up around him quickly, and his visions sound strangely truthful.

Peasant Rebellion!

Those peasants have had enough of all the the Scandalous Actions of you East Island Ignobles! Now that the most democratic realm on the continent is about to be destroyed you've made them flip! Volcano Eruption

Priests are making sacrifices to their deities, hearing the super natural events are about to unfold. Firstly a monster/undead invasion occurs, wiping out realms. Finally, the volcanoes exploded reforming the Island into a new map. A great calamity is about to befall the creatures known as 'Elves'. They have been creatures of pride and arrogance for too long and the gods are ANGRY with their behavior! Now their despotic ways of 'democracy' will no longer be tolerated and the gods shall smite them with righteous fury! Then there shall be a great schism in the land that will rend the world to pieces and only the chosen few will be allowed into paradise! Repent… REPENT The end is NIGH! (Or so this nifty little pamphlet thingy I got in the mail says. It's got all sorts of quotes from crazy old men and coupons for free ribs at Billy-Bob’s convertarium and restaurant!)

Terrorist Attacks

Dan Raymond (Tom wants to bring in World Wide Events into Battlemaster. Terrorists will come and hide among the population and cause horrible deaths and lost gold. You can only hunt them down by police work and horrible results will happen in Republics. Riots will be caused until George Bush is removed from office. lol. Theocracies will be terrorized and tyrannies will be awarded.

Islandwide Domestic Upheaval

This means the realms will be destroyed, making all the regions go rogue for brand new realms, right?
Maybe, though my conception of it is that there are suddenly large amounts of monsters, bandits, unrest, peasent revolts, ect., and ensuring that regions don't go rogue suddenly becomes far more important than the current wars -- not that the wars would end, but trying to fight them with more than a small fraction of the realm's forces would mean that your other regions would be in danger of going rogue. In the political chaos, anyone who can quickly take advantage of the situation will prosper, and there will be dozens of rebellions and sucessions. Sort of, but not completely. While monsters would certainly play a part, they wouldn't be the overriding focus. There would be no specific enemy to unite against -- just general chaos caused by a dozen different things, among them monsters. --Morgan Evans 21 December 2005 05:53 (CET)

5 Year Anniversary

It's a 'present' from Tom after 5 years of having to put up with our crap. He is finally implementing the priest class, which he has been secretly coding and testing. That or horrible, horrible smiting, meteors falling from the sky, plagues of locusts destroying all the fields, a huge drought, clouds of ash blocking out the sun for months, and all the dougnuts, oranges, and beer suddenly and mysteriously dissapearing. TOm will use the battlemaster map of the people who sent him the anniversary pictures. It will be a continent of 20 regions and 2 cities. People with bad pimple will be badland regions.

Hell Freezes Over

The Entire continent, freezes over! All people and troops take regular health checks and die randomly due to hypothermier etc. The place would look like siberia or the antartic.

A New Realm Will Spring Up

A new realm is gonna come up and oppose Sirion, and mabye even wipe it out, and cause torture and death to Doc. YAY! The new realm(I hope) Will be as powerful as Perdan and will join the SA! I dont thin Tom is gonna let 62k moible CS wander around, especiall if its for the NA, who wiped out 2 realms in a matter of weeks....Robert Wilson

Two New Realms Come To Be

Tom and Espire (Eric) finally decide to settle their differences - on East Island! Sirion Castle and Akesh Temple become the two Capital's for Tom and Espire's new realms. All other realms pick sides and a new order is introduced. Or, conversly, Tom and Espire make two new realms in Sirion Castle, Akesh Temple and then proceed to ally with each other and then attempt to wipe out all the other realms. (Tom/Eric's realms filled with people who left East Island in disgust of it's diplomacy. They come back to get revenge on everyone else!) A New Realm Will Spring Up 2

Ya know i like the 2 realms 2 alliances 1 giant war thing, although if one of the capitals is Akesh Temple, i hope the realm is Caligus cause Caligus has been under constant attack from monsters and Yssaria, and if he takes Akesh Temple, we wont be able to survive very long. But thats a great Idea, Akesh(Temple) Vs. Sirion(Castle) Now if only Caligus could take Hamadan........Robert Wilson

West Continent!

Tom said WC might come any time after 1000 logons per day, we're at about 950 right now! Maybe EC will be destroyed, and WC will coooooommmmmeeeeeeee!!!!!
This sounds strikingly similar to the Volcanoe Eruption thoery, except without the pretty details.
Yeah, I guess. Okay, here's what happens! East COntinent sinks! It is actually a big FLOATING island! The battle in Avamar popped a whole in it, and its sinking! When it sinks, the God TOM will put in a new continent! :D
