Meanwhile in Glinmar...

The soldiers were marching to Blaastambar. Erik walked in front of the cortege and he talked with the Captain. After many battles the Stormwalkers would serve as militia in Blaastambar and the youth Count would have to hire new soldiers. The travel to Dolmbar, Slimbar and Glinmar was tiresome and they had some confrontations in Lissambar. In the last reports he read about Lord Duhr's victories in Ustimbar and the progress of the Army of Sirion to Dale. In the first day in Slimbar he badly had time to know the fortified city in the middle of the forest. He was quite busy answering letters, reading the last reports and preparing the troops to the last confrontation in Blaastambar.

Captain Karl: "I was never before in Blaastambar."

Erik Eyolf: "Don't you remember our combat in Tallbar? It is near... and it is the first time that I know the beaches of the east, perhaps northeast. You only need to take care of the soldiers. Then you can get a woman and marry with her. Now verify if is everything in order and call my scribe, I want to speak with him."

Captain Karl: "In Arms, M'Lord!"

The captain went to verify the troop and to call the scribe. The troops moved forward in the road and they could see the beaches and the sea illuminated by the silver shine of the moon. The red luminous of the torches it could confuse the troops with a religious pilgrimage. The scribe soon was walking beside Erik, preparing the material to write the letter while an assistant carried a torch.

Erik Eyolf: "Send a letter to Sir Maharbal... I think he is in Sirion. And write other letter to the administrators of the estates in Blaastambar. Inform that after the battle, the Stormwalkers will make the militia service. Inform them that after the battle I want a time to commemorate. I want a good wine, young and beautiful women and I also want to know the beach. If they could gather all this in a party in the beach it will be more convenient."

Scribe: "A party in the beach with wine and women?"

Erik Eyolf: "Did I forget some thing?"

Scribe, saying in an incredulous and cretin tone: "Some herbs and a good meal?"

Erik Eyolf: "Why did I forget those things? Place in the list!"

The scribe finished writing the letters while Erik thought about the battle and mainly in his rest. He was curious to know how Blaastambar was, if he could drink a good wine and to know beautiful women. It was the minimum that he would deserve after so many battles.
