I agree with Indirik on this one, if it's not under your flag don't claim it as if it is, least not on the region pages themselves until that region is or actually was flying your flag. As far as I can tell the wiki is more of an up-to-date expansion upon what's already stated in BM. Many players consider it something of an international library of sorts.
