Fairytale Coat of Arms
Motto: Alea iacta est ante mortem.
(The die have been cast before death.)

The Fairytales have their roots in the very east of the Far East, in the realm of Arcaea.

Fainche the Beautiful

is the younger, hot tempered of the two Fairytales sisters. She has an eye for the latest fashion and never goes to a fight without having had a look into a mirror. "Looking good on any occasion, be it dinner, duell or death" is her motto. This also applies for the combat unit, the famous Banner of the Dragon. The soldiers have to shave regularly, even before battle. Uniforms are cleaned every second day, and a specialized uniform consultant keeps the unit clad in latest fashion of the Far East. Yes, that also applies to the weapons. There are few soldiers wielding such beautiful weapons in combat. It is even said that the Dragons carry a so called field mirror, along with some clothes to change, into every battle.

Florence the Bellicose, hero

lives and lets die by the sword. Her spearhead unit, the Banner of the Griffin, has a tradition of breaching enemy lines and beeing allmost completely annihilated. As such, the men under Florence enjoy the stay in every city the find, for they know that it is most going to likely their last. Well, with three exceptions: The unit's mascot, the lovely Bannerholder Bob, the grim looking Captain Gismar, and the healer and herb nerd Vladimir somehow manage it to keep a permanent position in the script of the Florence's mayhem commando.

Fairytales Chronicles

  • September 1007 - Fainche and Florence leave their cosy estate in the region of Lasop and travel to Remton in order to enlist to the army of Arcaea. From now on, they take part in the many battles in the war of Sartania and Ethalia against Arcaea. Fainche gets wounded in a duell against Danil Thyme, while Florence beats the same opponent easily with the sword.
  • October 1007 - Fainche and Florence are now well known for their heroic deeds. The Banner of the Griffin gets wiped out for the fourth time in battle.
