THE ASYLONIAN FORMATIVE LAWS


Article I : Disobedience

Disobedience is defined as complete inaction or action running contradictory towards orders from a superior, whether this be done consciously or unconsciously. An exception is made when a Noble suffers from indisposition due to wounding or imprisonment by an enemy.

  1. The Lord of a region may fine a pledged Noble for disobedience, with the fine going no higher than two hundred per cent of the income that Noble received during the last tax period (after taxes to the Lord have been deducted).
  2. A Duke may fine a Lord of his or her duchy for disobedience, with the fine going no higher than two hundred per cent of the income that Lord received during the last tax period (inclusive of taxes from pledged Nobles).
  3. The Monarch may fine a Duke, a Lord, or a Noble for disobedience, with the fine going no higher than three hundred per cent of the income that Duke, Lord, or Noble received during the last tax period (inclusive of taxes from allegiance, if applicable).
  4. The Marshal of an army may recommend a fine to a Duke, Lord, or Noble under that army's command to a superior of the offending Duke, Lord, or Noble.
