Letter from Hireshmont Vellos (17 days, 16 hours ago) Message sent to everyone in the region Hcallow (2 recipients) 1Baron,

Oh, I know your father well enough. Kagurati may not have thought much of the faith particularly, but his presence and contribution were well enough appreciated, 2and he himself seemed a good man from what I knew of him. 3It was your uncle I believe, rather, who I knew best: Ilandra. 4He was a man who, whatever beliefs were in his heart, did great service to the Church, making many noble sacrifices.

5But what is this? Just an old man rambling about bygone days. Those days are gone, and you younger nobles will replace us. 6My sunset approaches. 7But it is not so bad, as I have lived out strong days, I have fought battles worth fighting gotten scars worth getting, loved a woman worth loving, and believed in a cause worth casting everything else aside for. 8That is what Qyrvaggism is about, truth be told: the devotion to one thing, to the life of passion and adventure, the life abundant in its triumphs and its trials.9 We seek that life of Spirit, of the Warrior-Spirit caling us into danger and adventure. 10The salt-spray off your Western ocean, the heat off the sand: these are the forces of the nature of Heen. I have always loved your lands, I think on them often when I am away. 11This is a harsh and unforgiving land full of strange sights and extremes of clime which I do not know from my own home. 12Yet it is here Qyrvagg chose to make his Western bastion: in a place where the summer sun may burn a man alive, and the wind will wear him down to bones.

13You know struggle well enough in Heen: your realm was born out of the fires of a blinding civil struggle. 14I remember those days, I remember old Scion the Skilled and the wars he fought and won. In those days this land was full of Qyrvaggians, of battle-hearted spirits. 15Now it is emptying of our kind: 16but I have been working in Heen City. I have seen the revival there, now with over 7,000 believers and an expanded temple. I have great hopes for Heen. 17I plan to depart within a week or two now, but I will return in several months, or some other in my place. The Church has not forgotten Heen: we mean to stay here, and see Heen returned to its spiritual splendor.

8If you have any specific curiosities or questions, anything you seek, ask and I shall endeavor to provide.

Sincerely, Hireshmont Vellos (Priest of Qyrvaggism)
