Sovonoval

Sovonoval is a land composed of farmland and a supplier of food to the great city of Oritolon. The coastline of south-eastern Sovonoval has several small fishing settlements, while to the north-east, the farmland fades into the desert and the ambiguous border with Lukon. The long alliance between Lukon and Oritolon has translated into the lives of the ordinary people with many Lukonian settlements in Sovonoval and likewise across the border. Those who live on the border are a hardy people, well-used to scratching a living from the dry lands of the desert.

Sovonoval is famous for the cooling breeze which blows in from the ocean and many nobles flock to it whne the summer heat in Oritolon becomes too much to bear. The farms are mostly dedicated to raising animals and the stud farms produce respectable breeds of horses. There is also a small pottery industry located in the main settlement of Broad Oak with the occasional workshop of skilled craftsmen scattered throughout the region.
