Written on the occasion of the third anniversary of Portion's fall, by Murakama Yukiko (with apologies to Tolkien)
Oh Portion, of thy noblesse I sing,
of towers tall and verdant green.
The sentinel realm whom fair and free
stood guard twixt mountains and the sea.
With swords sharp and lances keen
you shining helmets from afar were seen
The countless stars of heaven's field
were mirrored in your paladins' shields.
But long ago your jewel was lost
your noble banner bore the cost
of Ttyranny's darkness, fire, and fear
in the shadow of the Arakir.
