Lyse started her career in hope of regaining the family wealth, which had been greatly depleted in order to let her two older brothers to begin their careers. That is why she decided to become a trader, where she travelled all of Atamara, even unfriendly lands, in order to feed Norland and make some profit. When she came back, she had the opportunity to save the land of many, as a norlandian region was starving, so she did so, and received many thanks from the nobles. However, she had hardly gained any money for her family, in fact, she had even lost some, and since discovering that her oldest brother has sent a package to the family, bringing them to slightly more money than they started with, she decided to follow a religious path, and is therefore travelling to be indoctrinated, so that she may later spread the religion to Norland.
